This Privacy Policy describes how Earnings Ninja ("we", "our", "the App") collects,
uses, and safeguards your information. By using Earnings Ninja you agree to the
practices described below.
1. Information we collect
Account information
- Email address — used to identify your account and send password-reset links.
- Password — stored only as a one-way bcrypt hash. We never see or store your plaintext password.
App content you create
- Earnings entries — the platform (e.g. DoorDash), amount, type (order, tip, cancellation, etc.), and timestamp you record.
- Expense entries — amount, category, optional photo of a receipt you choose to attach.
- Trip data — miles you log manually or via the in-app GPS trip tracker.
- Goals & settings — your profit targets, theme preference, and similar preferences.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your real name, phone number, address, or government identifiers.
- We do not use any advertising or analytics SDKs. The App contains no third-party tracking.
- We do not access your Contacts, Calendar, Health data, or microphone.
- Photos selected as receipt attachments are uploaded to our servers for your records — we do not scan or analyze the image contents.
2. How we use your information
- To operate the core features of the App (recording earnings, computing profit, showing dashboards).
- To authenticate you and let you reset a forgotten password.
- To compute and display your daily/weekly/monthly profit, mileage, and other dashboard metrics on your device.
3. Third-party service providers
We use a small number of third-party processors to run the App. We do not sell or share your data for advertising. Specifically:
- Resend — receives your email address solely to deliver password-reset emails. No other email is ever sent through Resend. Resend privacy policy.
- Railway — our backend hosting provider, where your account and entries are stored. Encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Railway privacy policy.
That's the complete list. The current iOS release does not call any AI service, advertising network, analytics SDK, or social-platform SDK with your data. If we add any new third-party processor in a future release, this page will be updated and the change announced in-app or by email.
4. Data retention
We retain your account and entries for as long as your account is active.
When you delete your account (see Section 6), we permanently delete all of
your personal data, entries, goals, settings, friend connections, achievements,
and password-reset tokens from our database. This deletion is irreversible.
5. Security
- All traffic between the App and our servers uses HTTPS / TLS.
- Passwords are hashed with bcrypt before being stored.
- Authentication tokens on your device are stored in the iOS Keychain via
expo-secure-store.
- Tokens shared with the iOS Home Screen widget are stored in an App Group container that is sandboxed to this app's bundle identifier.
6. Your rights — Account & data deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the App:
- Open the App and go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete My Account.
- Confirm twice. The deletion is processed immediately and cannot be undone.

from the email address on file and we will process the deletion within 7 days.
7. Children's privacy
Earnings Ninja is not directed to children under 13, and we do not
knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe
a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. International users
Our servers are located in the United States. By using the App you
consent to your information being processed in the United States. We strive
to comply with GDPR and CCPA principles even where not strictly required.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the
top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email.
